BRAND LAUNCH VISUAL IDENTITY EVENTS

NCC was a joint venture between Comcast, Cox, and Charter to develop a neutral platform for purchasing local TV ad slots on a national scale. This venture became a 6 Billion dollar nationwide business powered by local television.

In 2019, NCC Media brought in a new CEO and changed the name to Ampersand. These changes signaled a significant business shift to audience-based multiscreen TV campaigns, along with the launch of The AND Platform. By leveraging their vast proprietary viewing data and nationwide inventory, they would instantly become the market leader in the space.

The Nation worked closely with the CEO to express her vision for the new brand. For the new logo, we avoided the apparent path and created a mark that is unique and instantly recognizable. We extended the brand with a visual identity package that is modern and vibrant. We designed an information-rich website with custom illustrations and animation.

The launch of the rebrand coincided with Advertising Week New York, the premier annual industry event. We took this opportunity to make a big splash as a major sponsor. We displayed supersized graphic banners throughout the venue with our launch campaign: “Meet Ampersand.”
