Screenwriters Colony is a non-profit organization that supports writers with singular voices and visions. For over 20 years, they have invited writers to workshops and mentorship retreats away from their daily lives. Selected writers nominated by alums and industry peers are invited, with all travel and expenses provided, to create their best work away from commercial pressures.

When we began working with Screenwriters Colony, we designed a new logo and visual identity with a graphic system that embodies the spirit of “filmmaking” and “scriptwriting.” We also designed and built an informational website with a featured video celebrating screen works by program alums.

Almanack
Screen Writers

In 2021, the organization was renamed to Almanack Screenwriters. Our team created a new logo that retained the graphic language of the original, allowing for a seamless transition. We also produced a new homepage video to showcase the change.
